さて、“Don’t cross me.”とはどのような意味なのでしょうか。

“Don’t cross me.”
When you cross somebody, you are making them angry.
So for example, we draw a line in the ground, and say “don’t cross this line” when we were children.
“You cross this line, it’s fighting time”.
And two countries have the same thing.
We have a border, the border between China and Japan.
But China comes across the line, across the border.
They cross it, then it’s fighting time.
