バナナの茎から紙が作れるってご存知でしたか。木材から作られる紙と比べてみると、たくさんのメリットがあるようです。そもそも、ペオさんがこのバナナ・ペーパー・プロジェクトを始めようと思ったきっかけは何だったのでしょうか？

それは、3年前に起ったこんな事件にありました。

2 years ago when I looked for some really Eco-friendly, environmental friendly paper for my business cards. Because as you and listeners know, we had a big problem in Japan, the big paper companies in Japan told lies about their so called true recycle paper. That was a very bad accident happened, right? So I decided to try not to use normal papers as much as I could. So I went to paper free as much as I could. I didn’t write and print things, but I putted on my computer instead of that. But when I come to MEISHI, business cards, in Japan it is very, very important to use business cards. And you can not use your iPad or iPhone for substitutes to business cards. So I was looking for some really good business cards. And I found this, very interesting banana business cards in Japan and started to print them on these cards.
